Ysette Witteveen is a Venture Partner at BOLD and Managing Partner and Practice Leader, Interim Leadership – Life Sciences and Investor Backed Healthcare at WittKieffer, the premier executive search, interim placements and leadership advisory firm focused on Life Sciences, Healthcare and Education. Formerly, she was Senior Managing Director Client Development and Management and Global Life Sciences Vertical Lead at Business Talent Group. She has an extensive background in commercializing life sciences and technology products, advancing quality of life focused companies through placing impactful interim and on-demand leadership, expanding relationships with the F1000, and investing in and growing companies.
Ysette’s career has spanned on-demand and interim talent acquisition, management consulting, venture capital and investing and building companies/divisions. Most recently, Ysette was instrumental in growing BTG to a successful acquisition by Heidrick and Struggles. Currently, she finds interim leaders and consultants to address critical issues in finance, HR, clinical solutions, R&D, commercial, access and value, and operations for large and mid-size pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, medical device, and investor-backed healthcare companies.
Ysette has held a partnership role at the strategy consulting firm Monitor Group (now part of Deloitte) and started her work in consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the strategy and organizational design group. She worked with Monitor Ventures, an early-stage venture fund, and its portfolio companies and built the West Coast consulting group at the technology design firm Razorfish.
