Based in Los Angeles, BOLD Capital Partners is an early-stage venture capital fund. We invest in entrepreneurs harnessing technological advancements to solve some of the world’s largest problems. We focus primarily on two areas: i) increasing humanity’s healthspan through advancements in care modalities, diagnostics, and treatments; and ii) making a safer, more sustainable, and productive society and planet. We have been investing in these themes for over a decade and have been early investors in iconic companies such as Insilico Medicine, OURA, Colossal Biosciences, and Figure AI.
Role
We are seeking an Analyst to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a high-impact organization and get exposed to all aspects of venture capital. While supporting and shadowing the team, the Analyst will:
- Meet and support game-changing entrepreneurs as they build solutions to the world’s largest problems
- Source startups and entrepreneurs, as well as review inbound investment opportunities and participate in diligence
- Use initiative and interest to identify emerging Deep Tech technologies and develop perspectives on commercialization opportunities
- Participate in Investment Committee discussions
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Supporting core Fund operations, including pipeline tracking, Investment Committee materials, data room organization, and LP reporting support
- Owning and improving internal systems and workflows to help the team operate efficiently and with high data quality
- Contributing to the Fund’s AI strategy, including evaluating and selecting AI tools to support deal sourcing, diligence, and portfolio monitoring
- Implementing and integrating AI-driven workflows into existing systems (e.g., CRM, research tools, dashboards) and documenting best practices for the team
- Monitoring the AI tools landscape and recommending new solutions that can enhance sourcing, market research, and portfolio value creation efforts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience at a startup, technology company, management consulting, or investment banking, and/or a graduate degree in relevant technical fields
- Curious, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial mind with an interest in technology
- Deeply interested in the application of AI to operations and investing
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills
- B.A. or (preferably) B.S.
Location
We are seeking candidates based in Los Angeles, CA. The role is hybrid with a mix of in-office and remote work.
Start Date
Full-time starting in late Summer 2026 or Fall 2026. Expectation of 2-3 years in the role, after which the analyst will continue at BOLD as an Associate, pursue further education, or transition to an operating role at a portfolio company or other startup.
